Mike Mahnke
Since joining Roundhouse in 1985, Mike has worked on an incredibly diverse collection of both B2C and B2B accounts. Originally hired as a copywriter, he quickly worked his way into the role of Creative Director, while also servicing a select group of accounts. Whether writing a trade brochure, developing a consumer banner ad campaign or doing voiceovers for YouTube videos, Mike’s passion is creative communication.
A retired U.S. Army officer with over 17 years of combined active and reserve duty, Mike has recently been able to utilize his military experience on both strategic and tactical levels on brands such as U.S. Army Paintball (a division of Tippmann Sports) and Alder Foods (military commissary marketing).
Mike is also the long-time public address announcer for the University of Wisconsin football and basketball programs. He earned his B.A. from
UW-Madison, while double majoring in Theatre (acting emphasis) and German Literature. He is an honor graduate from the world-renowned Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA and has studied Russian and Spanish for business.
